Beckman Young Investigators (BYI) “provides support to the most promising young tenure-track faculty members in the early stages of academic careers in the chemical and life sciences particularly to foster the invention of methods, instruments and material that will open up new avenues of research in science.”

Eligibility Requirements:

• Minimal or no external funding from parent or other organizations.
• U.S. citizens or permanent residents.
• Completed no more than three full years of a tenure-track appointment in the chemical and life sciences.

Institutional Limit:

One applicant per competition.
