The American Council of Learned Societies (ACLS) Fellowships are awarded to original academic projects that significantly advance knowledge in a humanities subject or a related social science.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Tenure-track Assistant Professors, Associate Professors, and their equivalents
• Full Professors and their equivalents
• U.S. Citizenship or permanent resident status
• Ph.D. completed at least two years before the application deadline and a lapse of at least two years between the last “supported research leave.”
