Funding and Faculty Development

Funding Opportunities

Finding funding opportunities on campus is supported in several ways.

GrantForward

The funding search engine GrantForward enables researchers to find opportunities that are customized to their account's automatically generated profile.

Limited Submissions

Certain funding opportunities are limited, often by quotas per institution, which requires DRI to run internal competitions to determine which prospective applicant(s) may apply for a given limited submission opportunity. Find a partial list of identified opportunities and additional competition guidelines on the limited submissions page.

Faculty Development

In addition to the Office of Faculty Development and Enhancement, the Division of Research and Innovation offers training and workshop opportunities for faculty and staff to learn more about finding research opportunities, writing proposals, protecting their intellectual property (patents), and starting companies.

Regular training and workshop are being conducted in following sectors:

Researchers can also receive personalized support with finding and applying for funding opportunities through the Research Development office.

Teaching

The Teaching and Faculty Support Center (TFSC) also provides faculty development opportunities in the area of teaching. More information about TFSC may be found at http://tfsc.uark.edu.
